Earning Transfer Scholarships with RaiseMe-Student Demonstration

This webinar will tour students through how RaiseMe works, including a live demonstration of how to search for schools, create a portfolio, and invite peers. Post an invite to your class, events calendar, student organizations, or newsfeed to get students involved. Students can earn micro-scholarships for referring their friends, so getting your leaders on board can help spread the word. Students who attend can win a $50 Amazon gift card!

Supporting Transfer Students During COVID 19-Panel Discussion

Transfer students are facing new challenges due to the impacts of COVID 19. From changing deadlines, virtual advising, remote college visits, and adapting to online learning the transfer environment is changing, rapidly. Please join us, and our panel of experts, as we discuss:

How to keep students on track to reach their transfer goals.
How to deliver transfer services in a remote environment.
Building community for transfer students.
How to maintain relationships between 2 year and 4 year colleges to provide seamless experiences for students.

National Transfer Student Week- All About Transfer Panel

Community college students can learn about the community transfer admissions process from transfer admissions counselors at RaiseMe partner colleges. This panel discussion will help students answer questions around the application process, articulation, scholarships, and how to stay on track for transfer. Tara Zirkel, Ed.D, is Senior Manager for Community College Partnerships Manager for RaiseMe. Tara has over a decade of student affairs experience in community college settings, including as the Dean of Distance Education and Education Centers at Westmoreland County Community College and as the Director of Admissions, Interim Dean of Students, Adjunct Faculty, and Interim Associate Academic Dean at the Community College of Allegheny County. She holds a doctorate of education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she researched enrollment habits of community college students.
